So you can't find your service book?
First thing is, don't panic!. It's really not that big a deal. It is fixable.
The really, really great news is most garages will keep a digital copy of your service history on their systems, so you can just go and ask them for copies of the receipts or invoices of work that was done to your car. This will be sufficient for service history. The actual book isn't required.
In actual fact, most vehicle manufacturers now are moving towards having a digital service history anyway, so there's very shortly not going to be a service book in cars. It's either going to be stored in the car's computer or in the digital cloud.
You can also ask for a duplicate copy from the vehicle manufacturer or some garages will be able to get you, independent garages will be able to get you a duplicate.
The most important thing here is that you should still get your car serviced, regardless of whether you can find a service book for it or not, because it is more important to have the car serviced, than it is worrying about finding your service book.
