Why is car servicing is important?

Why is car servicing is important? This is really quite a short one, really because the reasons that you want to service your car are to maintain its original efficiency and performance.

What that means is that we want to make sure that it delivers the maximum amount of miles per gallon, so that it doesn't start using a lot of fuel, that it doesn't need expensive parts replaced, that should the car have been regularly maintained, then it wouldn't have required that major part to be replaced.

Following on from that then, it reduces the need to replace major components, because the oil is being changed regularly so the engine parts are being sufficently lubricated.

The air filters are being changed, so that the engine is getting the correct amount of air and it's not getting blocked, so that then the engine is always performing at its optimal rather than having to be labored.

In general, it just keeps your engine healthy and you know that you're doing the best that you can for it to prolong its life, and poor maintenance can and is linked to larger ongoing issues.
